Life cycle analysis

The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an objective process that allows us to evaluate the environmental burdens associated with a product, process or activity by identifying and quantifying both the material and energy use and emissions to the environment, to determine the impact of that resource use and greenhouse gas emissions and to evaluate and implement environmental improvement strategies.

The LCA includes the entire cycle of the product, process or activity, taking into account the stages of extraction and processing of raw materials, production, transportation and distribution, use, reuse and maintenance, recycling and final disposal.
The life cycle assessment is increasing efficiency. And since it takes into account each of the stages in the life of a product, identify and achieve improvements. Concepts such as "disposable" should be eliminated or minimized, while recycling is enhanced.
