Solar energy

Solar photovoltaics

Solar energy can be harnessed through the use of photovoltaic panels made of semiconductor materials such as silicon, which convert sunlight into electricity. Photovoltaic solar energy is currently used mainly for electricity production in isolated geographic areas where there is no mains, like islands or rural areas, and in the so-called photovoltaic system connected to the mains.

Solar thermal
Means solar thermal transformation of the solar radiation into heat or thermal energy. Solar thermal energy is responsible for heating the water directly reaching temperatures ranging between 40 ° and 50 ° through the use of solar panels (if temperatures below 80 ° C). The hot water is stored for later use: water heating, industrial, space heating, pool heating, drying, cooling, etc.. The system leverages an inexhaustible energy source, is effective, clean and can involve significant economic savings.
